It is with anticipation and excitement that we now welcome you to a new chapter in the story of our organisation. What began as the Baptist Homes Trust in 1944, and then Baptist Community Services in 1992, has now become BaptistCare.
The new look and feel captures both our purpose and our values; it expresses very clearly in words and in designs our absolute commitment to being leaders in life-transforming client centred care.
We spent many months speaking to our staff and clients to draw out the essence of what makes BaptistCare unique. After this journey of reflection on the culture and character of our organisation, we captured our findings in one core phrase – “All Individual, All Connected, All Respected” - to describe the special way in which BaptistCare relates to clients, carers, staff and volunteers. As they have always been, client care needs are our highest priority.
This core phrase then guided development of a powerful new logo which depicts the client at the centre of our services, with other figures surrounding the client with supportive and enabling care, all underpinned by our new name - BaptistCare.
Our new vision statement is ‘The Trusted Name In Life Transforming Care’. The vision provides BaptistCare with an aspirational goal, to be the one trusted above all others to facilitate life-transforming care for and with our clients.
Finally, we created our bold promise statement, that we will provide ‘Care You Can Trust’. This is our commitment as an organisation.
We trust you will appreciate the fresh enthusiasm of our valued clients, staff and volunteers as they embrace this exciting new chapter in the rich story that is BaptistCare. By visiting our new-look website you will discover that our name has changed, but our care remains the same.
