About the role

BaptistCare is seeking a part time Chaplain to join our vibrant team in Griffith Residential Facility in Canberra. The role will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy that meets the needs of our staff, volunteers, clients and families and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values.

About you

The successful applicant will have pastoral care qualifications, with theological training and a preference for aged care chaplaincy experience.  You will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of spiritual commitment and a pastoral heart.  You will have experience in or willingness to manage pastoral care volunteers, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team as well as working autonomously. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a recommendation from a local church.
