About the role

BaptistCare is currently seeking a full time Chaplain to join our vibrant team across New South Wales. The role is to ensure the delivery of pastoral care services within the Bathurst Correctional Complex meets the purpose and values of BaptistCare and ensures high quality person-centred pastoral care for inmates and staff.

About you

The successful applicant will have theological tertiary qualifications and have completed a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) course or equivalent; or be prepared to undertake a CPE course or equivalent in the first year of accreditation. You will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of spiritual commitment and a pastoral heart.  You will have the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a recommendation from a local church.
