About the role

BaptistCare is seeking a Community Chaplain to join our team, supporting the community of Wilmot on a part time basis. The role will be based at Wilmot Public School. The role will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of students, staff, volunteers, and families and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values.

About you

The successful applicant will have

  • Theological tertiary qualifications (inclusive of Pastoral Care subjects) OR Pastoral Care Qualifications (inclusive of Theological subjects)
  • Several years of pastoral ministry and or Chaplaincy experience
  • High level of spiritual commitment and pastoral heart
  • Current ‘Working with Children Check’
  • Experience in working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings
  • Recommendation from a local Church
  • Willingness to undergo a police check
