About The Role

Our Community Services team based in Campbelltown is currently seeking a female Counsellor / Group Worker to join their team on a full time basis. This role will provide counselling services to individuals, couples and families & specialist group programs including engaging with men who use violence and abuse in their relationship. If you have demonstrated skills as a counsellor and group worker this role may suit you. Supervision and training will be provided for this position.

What We Are Looking For

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in counselling including expertise in person centred counselling, group facilitation and working with individuals who are experiencing Domestic & Family Violence and have a commitment to personal development. Tertiary qualification in relevant human services (e.g. Psychology, Counselling) and membership of a relevant professional body is essential. Additionally you will need excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to identify and develop cooperative and effective relationships with key decision makers/personnel to achieve multi-team or functional goals and a current Drivers Licence.
