About the role
Our HopeStreet Women’s Services team is seeking a part time Female Counsellor to join their team in Darlinghurst. This position will provide counselling services to individuals, as well as group work. If you have demonstrated skills as a counsellor and group worker this role may suit you. Supervision will be provided for this position.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in counselling including expertise in person centred counselling, group facilitation and working with individuals who are experiencing or have experienced high levels of trauma, including Domestic & Family Violence. They must also have a commitment to professional development. Tertiary qualifications in relevant human services and membership of a relevant professional body are essential. Additionally you will need excellent written and oral communication skills and hold a current Driver’s License.
