About the role 

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance leadership team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage and lead a team of accounting professionals including 5 direct reports to deliver timely and accurate financial information, analysis and reporting to the organisation.  You will also oversee the tax and treasury functions, various government funding compliance reporting and assist the CFO with various ad hoc work and analysis.


About you 

  • CPA/CA qualified with 10 years’ experience in senior financial management roles
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, developing, mentoring and coaching a large team.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the month end process and managing functional roles across accounting, tax, treasury, AP, AR and fixed assets.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the year end audit and statutory accounts process
  • Technically strong with excellent analytical and advanced excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aged Care, Technology One and Audit experience highly desirable
