About the role
BaptistCare Residential Services Caloola Centre located in Wagga Wagga is currently seeking a part time Maintenance Assistant including cleaning and gardening (30.4 hours per fortnight) to join our vibrant team. At BaptistCare we’re about our residents. This Maintenance Assistant role is responsible for ensuring general cleaning, stock and waste management is up to standards whilst assisting the Maintenance Supervisor.

The successful applicant will demonstrate commitment to service delivery whilst having good communication skills and the ability to take direction and supervision. You will have the ability to follow through with instructions and tolerance, flexibility, empathy and patience in dealing with the elderly. You will have previous experience in laundry services (desirable). You will also have the ability to work unsupervised. Both maintenance and trade experience in aged care and residential facilities is desirable.
