About the role

BaptistCare Residential Services located in Canberra and Queanbeyan is seeking a full time Maintenance Team Leader & casual Maintenance Support to join our vibrant team. The Team Leader’s role is responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance systems including services, repairs and other tasks for the residents and facility as a whole. The Support Officers role is responsible for ensuring general cleaning, stock and waste management is up to standards whilst assisting the Maintenance Supervisor.

About you

We are looking for someone with trade qualifications, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to take responsibility for the maintenance systems. You will have excellent communication skills, be customer orientated with a passion for delivery high quality work and possess excellent time management and coordination skills. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised, lead a small team and liaise with external contractors. Minimum 3 years maintenance/trade experience is essential and knowledge of and experience in aged care and residential facilities is desirable. General computer skills are essential.
