About the role

BaptistCare Support Services is currently seeking a full time Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Norwest. This role is responsible for developing and supporting a range of technologies in the Microsoft Infrastructure stack including Azure, ADFS/AAD, Active Directory, cloud connectivity, Sharepoint Online, Skype for Business Online, Teams and SQL. This role acts as a champion for the development and promotion of infrastructure automation and DevOps. The Microsoft Infrastructure engineer is also responsible for exploring emerging and innovative technologies and working with other engineers and customers to realise the identified benefits.

About you

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent industry experience of minimum of 8 years and will have obtained industry certifications such as MCSE/MCSA or similar. You will have 5 years’ experience supporting and implementing Microsoft platforms in a large organisation alongside 3-5 years’ experience using technologies such as PowerShell scripting for Infrastructure automation in a hybrid cloud environment. You have previous experience coordinating and engaging with external partners and demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments/systems in response to changing technologies.
