About The Role

Our Wellington and Dubbo Community Centres are currently seeking a part time NILS Client Coordinator (1 day per week in each centre). The NILS (No Interest Loans Scheme) program allows people on low incomes to apply for a no interest loan to purchase household items with no interest or charges. The role will include promotion, managing loan enquiries, conducting applicant interviews and maintaining a data system.

What We Are Looking For

The successful applicant will possess

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the banking/finance sector or community welfare sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the needs of people on a low income and women escaping domestic violence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including promotion of the program, interviewing, written and oral skills
  • Experience with Excel and MS Office
