BaptistCare is seeking a full time Urban Education and Engagement Specialist to join our HopeStreet Community Development team in Woolloomooloo. This role will develop and lead Urban Education and engagement programs that effectively connect Churches, School, Corporate Organisations and other Community Groups to the needs of the disadvantaged and marginalised communities and people.

What We Are Looking For
The successful applicant will have:
Degree or Diploma qualification in Theology, Education, Community Services or other relevant discipline
The experience, knowledge and skills to develop and implement Educational and Training programs and modules
Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of and commitment to social justice and community engagement
Experience in working alongside disadvantaged and marginalised communities and people with complex needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to regularly liaise with key stakeholders
The ability to work in harmony with the Purpose and Values of BaptistCare
The ability to speak on behalf of HopeStreet internally and externally (e.g. Church Services)
