Important Notice for all staff and visitors

Our BaptistCare locations in both NSW and the ACT are excluding staff and visitors on the following grounds:

If you have been to any of the COVID-19 case locations in NSW as listed on the NSW Government website, excluding the monitor for symptoms list: www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates;
- If, during the last 14 days, you have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case;
- If you have a fever or symptoms of COVID-19;
Important Notice for all Aged Care Home staff and visitors
The following visiting arrangements at our aged care homes will remain in place until further notice:
All Homes
Visitors will be excluded from all BaptistCare Homes if you:
Homes located in Greater Sydney including The Gracewood, Aminya, Dorothy Henderson Lodge, Shalom, Cooinda, Warena, and Morven Gardens.
- Residents may have a maximum of two visitors each day.
- They may have different visitors each day.
- Visitors are able to visit their loved ones during visiting hours, and there is no limit on the amount of time you can spend with your loved one.
- All visitors must wear a surgical mask.
- Visitors must pass all the screening questions before a visit can proceed.
- Those who have visited the latest COVID-19 locations in NSW at the times and dates listed, excluding the monitor for symptoms list, will not be permitted to visit. It is a requirement that you review the Case Locations before you travel to the home: www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
- Exceptional circumstance visits (end of life) can be arranged through your local Home.
Homes located in the ACT including Griffith Centre and Carey Gardens
- Visitors are able to visit their loved ones during visiting hours, and there is no limit on the amount of time you can spend with your loved one.
- Visitors must wear a surgical mask.
- Visitors must pass all the screening questions before a visit can proceed.
- Visitors who have a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to visit.
- Those who have visited the latest COVID-19 locations in NSW at the times and dates listed, excluding the monitor for symptoms list, will not be permitted to visit. It is a requirement that you review the Case Locations before you travel to the home: www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
- Exceptional circumstance visits (end of life) can be arranged through your local Home.
- All visitors to ACT Homes are required to have a current influenza vaccination, however visitors providing a care and support visit to a resident are no longer required to have a current influenza vaccination.
Homes located in Regional NSW including Warabrook Centre, Kularoo, George Forbes House, Niola Centre, Caloola Centre, Mid Richmond Centre, Maranoa Centre, Bethshan and Orana.
- There is no cap on the number of visitors to these homes.
- All visitors must wear a surgical mask.
- Visitors are able to visit their loved ones during visiting hours, and there is no limit on the amount of time you can spend with your loved one.
- Visitors must pass all the screening questions before a visit can proceed.
- Those who have a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to visit.
