Can you assist as a visitor with our residents? You will enjoy spending time 1:1 in conversation, going for walks in the garden or having morning/afternoon tea. A short visit each week or fortnight can make a difference in an elderly person’s life.
We have a small group of residents interested in art/craft activities. Times to suit you. Monday to Friday, or every second Saturday, when lifestyle staff are on duty to support you.
We are seeking friendly people to assist our staff with group activities including quizzes, floor games, bingo, arts and crafts. This is an opportunity to join our caring team and enjoy contributing to the wellbeing of others.
Are you skilled in hand care and manicuring? Our residents regularly need a caring person to tend to their nails.
Can you sing, play a piano, a flute or other musical instrument? We would welcome people with musical ability to assist engaging our residents in listening to music.
We are looking for people to go on bus outings. The role involves assisting residents on and off the bus; some residents may require being moved by wheelchair, help with ordering of meals and drinks and ensuring resident comfort during the outing. Manual handling training will be provided.
We have a group of men who would greatly appreciate the friendly support of someone who enjoys attending the facility weekly or fortnightly to assist with barbecues, wine and cheese afternoon teas, special morning/afternoon teas and occasional bus outings.
