We are introducing iPods and individualised playlists to 25 residents with dementia living at Macquarie Park. We need volunteers who are happy to sit with or maybe even walk or dance with residents as they listen to their individualised music – even 30 mins each week can make a real difference.

We are looking for men available on a Thursdayor Friday to meet with our male residents in a BBQ or Men’s Shed type setting. Men skilled in woodwork, craft or are able to join a discussion group would be particularly valued.
We are looking for someone with a current LR Class driver's licence to transport our residents and carers on outings in our 21 seater bus – Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 10am and 3pm.
We need some helpful people to assist in our coffee shop between 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm on Wednesdays. The shop serves residents and staff, as well as families and friends visiting our facility. No previous experience required.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with our weekly activities, particularly crafts and games on a Wed or Thurs afternoon. We also need someone to assist our chaplain on Wednesdays, to serve morning tea and spend time with the residents.
The residents love the opportunity to hop on the bus, whether it is for a day trip or a short trip to the shops. If you have a current Class C driver's licence and would be available Tuesdays 1pm to 3pm weekly to drive our 8-seater bus, we would love to hear from you.

We would like to hear from people who speak Italian and are available 1 or 2 times a week to meet one-to-one with a male resident. Days and times negotiable.
We require volunteers to assist in one-on-one companionship visits with our residents. This could be time spent reading the newspaper or short story, a game or jigsaw, or simply time in conversation.
We have two buses needing drivers who are regularly available to transport our residents and carers on weekly outings. Drivers will hold a current ‘C Class’ or ‘LR Class’ Australian Driver’s Licence.
Do you enjoy walking with friends? Some of our residents would value the caring support of someone to walk with periodically. Gardens and walking paths are available within the facility. Times to suit you.
Our Leisure and Lifestyle staff would appreciate the assistance of some happy and friendly people to assist with planned group activities and table games with our residents.
