Supported Accomodation

We provide support for women and children escaping domestic violence. All of our accommodation is secure, with the location remaining confidential to protect our clients.

All families supported by BaptistCare have access to individual counselling as well as a range of ongoing supportive, educational, financial and parenting programs that are tailored to their needs.

Your Eligibility

  • Accommodation is available for women and children only (including boys under 16).
  • Accommodation is available through agency referral only.
  • Women must be in paid employment or receiving a Government Benefit.
  • No current substance abuse issues or unmanaged mental health issues.
  • Location has to remain confidential.
  • For the Crisis Accommodation, there is an initial key deposit of $50 and weekly fees payable calculated at 25% of client’s fortnightly income.
  • With Medium Term Accommodation, rent is calculated in accordance with Social Housing rent plus the cost of utilities. A bond is payable.

Domestic & Family Violence

BaptistCare provides a range of support for women, children and men affected by domestic & family violence.
