Come Join Us

Our Red Hill Social Club provides day respite for the elderly and people with low to medium level dementia. The centre is available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays. We aim to relieve carer stress by providing a positive, friendly and secure environment with trained and dedicated staff. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea are provided and clients who are able may be involved in the preparation. Transport may be arranged for those people who require it.

We offer an activities program and maintenance of the client’s safety and well-being is maintained through constant supervision. This means working carers have peace of mind to attend work knowing that the person they care for is safe and happy.

Clients need to be continent and able to walk to attend.

Freshly Prepared Meals
At BaptistCare we love making tasty meals - almost as much as eating them! We use fresh ingredients and prepare each meal. It's your home, and making sure you eat well is very important to us!
Social Outings and Bus Trips
We have regular social outings that all our residents enjoy if they choose to participate. Group outings occur twice per week and our bus is fully equipped with a hoist for passenger safety and comfort.
Respite Dementia Care
We provide care for clients with dementia in a friendly, safe, environment with qualified staff present to provide support.
In Home Support for Carers
Caring for someone can be tiring, so have a break on us. We can come to your home, take care of your loved one and do some of the housework while we're there. We can also support with some of the private day-to-day things your loved one may require like assistance with bathing or showering, dressing, or going to the bathroom. All the while giving you an opportunity to recharge your batteries and take some well-deserved rest.
Support to Maintain an Active Social Life
Staying active and social is not always an easy thing. We can give you a hand by helping you do the things you enjoy, whatever they are. That might mean getting out to the shops, visiting a café, making it to an appointment or just simply having a cup of tea and a chat.
