Lyn Worsley is a Senior Clinical Psychologist, a Master Trainer and the Director of The Resilience Centre, a service that has provided therapy, training and research, located in the heart of Sydney for over 25 years. With a background as a Registered Nurse and Youth Worker, Lyn created her own research-validated and evidence-based model of resilience - "The Resilience Doughnut", and it is used widely with individuals and families, as well as schools and workplaces, locally, nationally and internationally for over 15 years.
She has authored two books about resilient kids and resilient adults: "The Secret of Strong Kids" and "The Secret of Strong Adults", as well as created a range of resources related to resilience for both personal and professional use. Lyn values working with all age groups, helping them identify their strengths to build resilience, so they can both survive and thrive in the face of challenge, uncertainty and adversity. Lyn regularly facilitates talks, workshops and training about resilience locally, nationally and internationally, with a team of trainers across the world to support her work and teach her model of resilience also.
