Every day you will feel pride in having made a difference to someone.
About the role
At home we’re surrounded by the people, community and memories we love most — and we believe that’s the best place to live. So we offer services to keep our customers at home for as long as possible, delivered in the way they choose. Every day is different, just like every customer you meet. A typical day can include:
• Assisting people with activities like cooking, showering, household cleaning and laundry
• Providing transport to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping and social activities
• Helping people feel valued, cared for and active within their communities
• Caring for customers in South West Sydney including Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown.
At BaptistCare, we empower our staff by offering flexible working hours, a supportive team, training opportunities and financial benefits including salary packaging and stability working for an industry-leading provider.
You can make a difference every day and love doing it.
You can help seniors live independent lives.
You can bring your unique set of skills and experiences to make a difference.
You have a current NSW/ACT drivers licence with a registered, reliable, insured motor vehicle. You will have or are willing to work towards obtaining a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/HACC/Disability. You have a warm and friendly nature, a high regard for life, health and wellbeing, and genuinely enjoy helping people -- then you’ll be perfect for BaptistCare’s Home Services team.
We love what we do and the communities we help. With us you can deliver life transforming care, create a career you’ll love, and join a team who make a difference.
We’re a not-for-profit organisation that connects with families, communities and thousands of individuals. You may know us for our aged care services -- we also give back to the community through domestic violence initiatives, affordable housing, and offering no-interest loans to the disadvantaged.
