About the role

BaptistCare Housing and Retirement living is currently seeking a part time Community Housing Manager to join our team in Point Clare. The Housing Manager position is a newly created role, which will be establishing a recently constructed 55 unit community. The community is predominately for seniors but families will also be accommodated. It is a part time role for 68 hours per fortnight with flexibility around the days worked. The role is within the organisation’s Housing and Retirement Living Division, and will be based at the Pont Clare site.  A total remuneration package of circa $90,000 (inclusive of the maximum packaging benefit) will be offered to the successful candidate.

About you

You are a passionate individual who strives to make a difference to people living in the community, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.  You enjoy management and the challenge of working in an innovative organisation undergoing significant growth.  You will be compassionate and patient as you will be liaising with tenants who will come from a variety of backgrounds. The successful applicant will have obtained relevant qualifications and/or 3 years’ experience in a management role. Have previous experience working in Housing or related discipline with strong leadership, organisational and planning skills. You will demonstrate capability to manage diversity and implement social inclusion strategies and have the ability to work in harmony with Purpose and Values of BaptistCare.
