About the role

BaptistCare Support Services is currently seeking a full time IT Security Engineer to join our team in Norwest. This role is responsible for executing security initiatives, projects and activities across the full range of BaptistCare technology systems. The IT security engineer provides advice and technical input in relation to best practice information security principles, controls and processes. The role will actively contribute to collaborative efforts with both internal and external stakeholders to implement effective solutions that directly support BaptistCare’s information security policies, strategy and requirements.

About you

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree of IT Security or equivalent industry experience of 5-10 years. You will have 5+ years hands-on IT Security experience along with 3+ years’ experience of IT Security operations in a large organisation, including significant exposure to cloud security principles and architecture. You have industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or other similar qualifications. You have experience with information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or ISM. You value teamwork, work collaboratively and are committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
