Become a Pastoral Care Volunteer Today

We’re inviting people who are active in their local church to become BaptistCare Pastoral Care Volunteers, receive free training, and use the gift of pastoral care to connect with their local community.

BaptistCare Pastoral Care Volunteers are equipped with the skills to provide pastoral care and support to people in their community and their church congregation.

We understand that churches want to reach into their local communities, and people like you want to use your gifts of listening and encouraging as you share the love of Christ.

How Does It Work?

Step 1

Volunteers complete an eight week engaging pastoral care course. The course is free of charge.

Step 2

You are then matched with BaptistCare clients, where you’ll spend a few hours a week visiting clients, using your new pastoral care skills to provide emotional and spiritual support.

Step 3

Your new skills can also be used to provide pastoral support to your congregation and the people you come in contact with.
