ACT-based Yarra Rossa development underway
Development of Yarra Rossa, our newest retirement living community located in Red Hill, ACT, got underway in October 2019 with the construction of the car park, ground floor, lift wells, indoor pool and community centre well under way.
Yarra Rossa is built on the historic site of our former Morling Lodge; the first aged care home in Canberra. This site has a strong history of community and care, which we will continue for our new residents.
The site has been designed to enrich the lives of the seniors who will live there, with a variety of activities on offer enabling residents to be social and active. There will be a range of facilities for our residents to enjoy, including a library, pool, clubhouse and community garden.
Sales of the 100 new apartments have begun, with the sales office located nearby in Red Hill, a short drive from Yarra Rossa. The retirement community is due for completion in late-2021. You can learn more at yarrarossa.org.au
