Robert Dunn, Board Chair

BA (Hons) GAICD, CA (ANZ), Executive Officer and Company Director | | Robert recently retired from Opportunity International, where he worked for over 13 years in various Executive and Board roles. Previously he worked for Patrick Corporation. He chairs the Port Authority of NSW, and is a board member of Logosdor. Robert served on the BaptistCare board for 10 years. He re-joined in November 2018, becoming the Chair in 2019. He is a member of Castle Hill Baptist Church.

Anna Phan

BA (Hons), Executive Officer | | Anna’s experience lies in sales, marketing and category development in fast moving consumer goods, internationally and locally. She has strong governance, analytical and customer engagement skills. Anna - works as Executive Officer for Erina Baptist Community Care, a not-for-profit company that includes an early learning centre, counselling division and Men’s Shed. Anna joined the board in November 2018 and is a member of Erina Community Baptist Church.

Owen Chew Lee

BCA BSc FCA GAICD Banker and Company Director | | Owen has worked in chartered accounting and banking, with over 25 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Regulatory Affairs in the financial services sector both in Australia and overseas. Currently he is involved in various small business investments, consulting and holds a number of non-executive director roles. He is a director/trustee of BCS Foundation, a director and past chair of Baptist Financial Services, and chair of Baptist Developments Australia. He has been a board member since June 2017 and is a member of Gordon Baptist Church.

Cameron Webb

BBus (Retail Management), MBA, GAICD, IT Executive Retail | | Cameron is a Non-Executive Director with Retail, Consulting and Technology experience, with over two decades experience in large scale technology based business transformation. He is currently Executive General Manager – Transformation, Technology and Digital at CSR, having previously worked at Woolworths and PwC. Cameron has been a board member since November 2016 and is a member of Dural Baptist Church.

Peter Murphy

BBus MCom MA (Christian Studies), FCPA, GAICD, Management Consultant | Peter has over 25 years’ experience in finance, management and governance. He has worked in a variety of sectors including aged care, tertiary education and superannuation. He serves on a number of boards, and provides consulting services to a range of industry and corporate superannuation funds. Peter joined the board in April 2016 and is a member of Blakehurst Baptist Church.

Craig Collins

BBus (Land Economy), Chief Executive Officer, Hospitality Sector Company | | Experienced in accommodation hotels, hospitality and general property, Craig recently retired as Chief Executive Officer - Australasia of JLL Hotels and Hospitality Group, a position he held for nearly 8 years. Prior to this role, Craig held many roles within the group spanning some 26 years. Craig joined the board in November 2012 and is a member of Epping Baptist Church.

John Church

FAICD, FFin,FCIS, FTIA, Company Director | | John was a solicitor with Church & Grace for over 45 years. He has been a Director of various corporations. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, FINSIA, and the Tax Institute of Australia. John has been a board member for 36 years, joining in September 1984. He has served as the Chairman and Treasurer of the board and is a member of Gordon Baptist Church.

Ian Wilson

B Health Science (Mgt), Dip Health Admin, Retired Chief Executive Officer, Aged Care/Community Services | | Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the aged care sector, holding senior management positions, including Chief Executive Officer. Ian has served on industry boards for 39 years in aged care, community services and economic development. Ian received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to the aged care industry. He joined the board in March 2010 and is a member of Kiama Baptist Church.

Corinne Glasby

BEc, FIAA, Actuary | | Corinne is an experienced executive in the Insurance industry. A qualified actuary, she has held a number of senior roles across various companies, in actuarial, capital management, reinsurance and risk management fields. Corinne was a board member for 11 years, had a short break and re-joined the board in 2019. She is a member of Epping Baptist Church.

The Leadership Team

Charles Moore, Chief Executive Officer

Charles was appointed to CEO of BaptistCare in July 2020. Prior to his appointment he was CEO of Sydney Olympic Park Authority and comes with extensive experience in leadership, regulatory environments and investment management. Charles is married to Jane and together they have three daughters. He is a keen cyclist and spends early mornings and weekends on the road enjoying the company of other riders and the amazing national parks that surround Sydney.

Neville Zammit, Chief Financial Officer

Neville joined BaptistCare in 2018 and is responsible for finance, payroll and procurement. His prior CFO experience was with private and listed international organisations across diverse industries. Neville is married with 4 children and the whole family are Western Sydney Wanderers season ticket holders.

Craig Lucas-Smith, Chief Risk Officer

Craig has significant experience in risk management, corporate governance, compliance and audit gained from working in the aged care, financial services and local government sectors. Craig loves spending time with his large family of seven children, enjoying plenty of time outdoors whenever possible. Watching cricket at the SCG is a favourite escape!

Graham Hall, General Manager - Corporate Strategy

Graham has experience in not for profit sector, as well as across financial services and fast moving consumer goods industries. Graham looks after Corporate Strategy for BaptistCare. He is married with two children and enjoys running and training for half marathons.

Meighan Heard, General Manager - Governance and Legal

Meighan is responsible for governance, legal and insurance, and is the company secretary for BaptistCare. She joined BaptistCare from the construction and engineering industry. Meighan is married with two children. She is passionate about health and fitness, has a constant pile of books by her bedside table and loves good food and wine.

David Cowdery, General Manager - Property

David has a 25 year background in property development, consulting and construction. His responsibility at BaptistCare is to oversee development of new projects across the business as well as the ongoing asset management of existing facilities and villages. David is married with three teenage and adult children and enjoys beach holidays with the family and watching kids play sport on weekends.

Jenny Blok, General Manager - Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care

Jenny has many years of experience in teaching, pastoral care and chaplaincy. She has been with BaptistCare since 2010. For the first 5 years she worked as a chaplain in the Residential, Home Service and Housing and Retirement Living space before moving into management. Jenny is married to Graham, also a chaplain. They have four children and four grandchildren. Her down time is spent with friends or watching good movies.

Paul Denahy, General Manager - People & Culture

Paul has extensive experience in industrial and employee relations. From managing complex issues, negotiating enterprise agreements with multi-national companies, and providing strategic and collaborative HR advice, Paul enjoys the challenges that each day brings. He is married with four children and has a passion for rugby union and trout fishing.

Daniel Pettman, Chief Information Officer

Daniel oversees all technology operations, project delivery, innovation and compliance activities across BaptistCare. He has a diverse background in technology, previously working across retail, government, manufacturing and education. His spare time is spent with his wife and two children where he regularly imparts his love of sporting activities (especially basketball) and outdoor adventure.

Benjamin Galea, General Manager - Marketing & Communications

Ben oversees the marketing, communications, public relations and Customer Engagement Centre for BaptistCare. Ben has worked in marketing for 15 years with extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector. He is a proud father of four children and a big fan of the Parramatta Eels and Liverpool Football Club.

Mike Furner, General Manager - Housing & Retirement Living

Mike is responsible for retirement villages and community housing. Prior to BaptistCare, a significant part of Mike’s work was in rural and remote areas. Social justice issues are an important part of Mike’s life. He is married with four children. Fishing and national parks are his favourite escapes. Go the Bunnies!

Allan Waters, General Manager - Residential Services

Allan joined BaptistCare in 2019 after 20 years in senior roles in the aged care sector, covering residential aged care, retirement living, homecare, and social housing. Allan is married with 3 adult children, and enjoys travel. He’s a keen woodworker and an early adopter of new technologies.

Sarah Newman, General Manager - BaptistCare at home

Sarah’s background is in learning and development and organisational psychology. Having managed people development for many years at BaptistCare, she brings a passion to see people thrive in all areas of their life. Left to her own devices, Sarah loves to cook, spend time with friends, play in the garden and enjoy her three sons and their expanding families.

Rob Ellis, General Manager - Community Services

Rob oversees counselling and family services, HopeStreet locations, pathways to employment through HopeEnterprises and microfinance loans. He loves music, cooking up a storm and working with change that brings hope.
