Representatives from the BaptistCare leadership team travelled to the UK and France to take a look at the advanced social housing and innovative aged care systems.
The SAGE study tour allowed the team to see how these two nations are approaching models of housing, community development and aged care in fresh, innovative and caring ways.
It was inspiring and described by all on the trip as a profound experience harnessing the power of international connections in the aged care and social housing sectors.
“By embracing the innovative practices and strategic insights observed on this study tour, we hope to see future developments and models of care are not only efficient and sustainable, but also deeply connected to the people and communities they serve,” said Charles Moore.
The perspectives and experiences from the study tour has been shared in a report and will inspire, in part, the future BaptistCare across NSW, ACT and WA is building.
Everything that was seen and the learnings from the tour have been put together in a report that you can read here.
