Classic big-band hits from across the years had toes tapping when the Hills Big Band took to the stage at Baptistcare Yallambee Residential Care in Mundaring.
The popular local 20-piece band performed a free concert for residents, who were joined by family and friends for an hour and a half of jazz favourites, including numbers by Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole, Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé.
Leanne Ruggiero, Lifestyle Coordinator at Baptistcare Yallambee, said the Hills Big Band concert had definitely been a highlight on the residents’ calendar.
