Dryandra Residential and Community Care Inc (DRCC) and Baptistcare are pleased to jointly announce that leading, accredited provider, Roshana Group, will be assuming ownership and management of Dryandra Residential Care from 28 February 2020, pending approval by the Department of Health.
Roshana Group is based in Western Australia with over 20 years’ experience in aged care and mental health support services, including four residential care facilities which are operated under the subsidiary Burswood Care Pty Ltd.
Raymond Griffiths, DRCC Chairperson, explained that it is the perfect time to transition the service to a new provider who is keen to invest and operate in regional WA.
“Aged care is a highly complex, rapidly changing industry and the time is now right for DRCC to transition ownership of the service to an aged care provider,” he said.
Russell Bricknell, Baptistcare Chief Executive Officer, assured residents and employees that it will be essentially business as usual for the facility.
“Residents rights are protected and their security of tenure is assured. All permanent employees at the facility will be offered employment with Roshana Group to ensure residents continue to be supported by highly skilled and caring staff,” he said.
Rosh Jalagge, Roshana Group’s Chief Executive Officer, emphasised that the individual needs of residents and the on-going wellbeing of both employees and residents was a priority, promising a high-quality service for which Roshana Group is renowned.
“We will consult with residents, families and employees to ensure everyone is confident, well informed and comfortable throughout the process,” he said.
Baptistcare would like to recognise all employees at Dryandra Residential Care for their ongoing care and support to residents.
We are committed to managing this transition as seamlessly as possible, ensuring continuity of care with minimal disruption.
