Residents at Baptistcare Yallambee Residential Care in Mundaring were treated to a special visit from a group of baby kangaroos.
The orphaned joeys are currently being cared for and rehabilitated by local wildlife rescue group Blue Gum, before their eventual return to the wild.
The highlight for residents was getting the chance to bottle feed the joeys before they snuggled into their handmade pouches for a snooze.
Spending time with animals sparks happy childhood memories for many of our residents at Baptistcare Yallambee as they recall days spent on the farm caring for all kinds of creatures great and small.
