Pastoral care volunteers provide support

We continue to partner with churches to help them provide pastoral care throughout NSW and the ACT, by training people in the Spiritual Care Series.

The power of listening

Many people walk into BaptistCare HopeStreet Windale looking for a low-cost meal or groceries, however, they often leave with something just as important – feeling valued, seen and heard – thanks to the work of chaplains like Joy.

Christmas gifts abound

In November 2019 our chaplaincy team collected gifts and food items from across BaptistCare sites to give directly to BaptistCare HopeStreet clients and Community Housing tenants.

Support during devastating bushfires

Over the Christmas period, as Australia was gripped by devastating bushfires, our staff across BaptistCare showed themselves to be ‘everyday heroes’ as they stepped up to help friends, neighbours, colleagues and complete strangers during this natural disaster.

Connect Grant transforming West Ryde

BaptistCare Connect Grants of up to $10,000 assist churches to engage with their local community to enhance the well-being of the community.
