BaptistCare continues to collaborate closely with NSW Health and ACT Health by monitoring the advice being issued and implementing strategies to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Our number one concern is for the health and safety of our clients and staff.
BaptistCare at home has introduced a wide range of initiatives to minimise potential COVID-19 transmission and enable our staff to appropriately continue to provide care and services.
Initiatives aimed at safeguarding the health of our clients and staff have included:
BaptistCare and our staff take the COVID-19 situation very seriously and we are doing everything we can to make sure we can safely provide the needed support to all of our clients.
We do not want any older Australian feeling under-supported during this period. If you have placed your services on hold for any reason and would like to recommence any or all of these, please give your Care Facilitator a call.
If you need assistance with activities like shopping, learning how to use the internet, obtaining or learning to use a suitable online device such as a digital tablet, walking your pets, or other household activities, we are here to help.
Our staff have been trained to assist you while maintaining a safe distance and practicing strict infection control measures. They can even wear a mask while they are with you if that would help you feel more at ease.
