Halo Ball Event Disclaimer

BaptistCare NSW & ACT (BaptistCare) does not accept responsibility for any losses incurred by the attendee in attending or associated with attending the Halo Ball including but not limited to, transport and accommodation booked for the event. BaptistCare reserves the right to change any of the published event details without notice and have the final say on any matter relating to the event.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds can be arranged by writing to BaptistCare before Friday, 7 October 2022. No refunds will be issued after this date.

BaptistCare recognises in the current global health crisis, circumstances change on short notice, and offers the following alternatives to assist you should you need to return your tickets after Friday, 7 October 2022:

  • Transfer your ticket(s) to another person(s) at no charge.
  • Issue you a tax receipt for $145 which forms the ‘donation’ component of your ticket price.

For Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorship packages, a tax receipt will be issued for the donation component of your sponsorship.

If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, please do not attend the Halo Ball. Due to the costs involved in organising the Halo Ball, BaptistCare is unable to refund your ticket price after Friday, 7 October 2022 even if you are unwell.

BaptistCare can allow for special consideration of your circumstances in regards to this policy. If this is the case, please email Melanie Hendra to discuss your circumstances.

Should BaptistCare choose to cancel the Halo Ball, or be required to cancel or postpone the Halo Ball due to changing government restrictions/state border closures related to the current global pandemic, all ticket holders will be offered a choice of either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer the ticket(s) to the new event date.

BaptistCare accepts no liability for additional costs incurred by attendees, including but not limited to, transport and accommodation costs, and recommends all attendees take out personal travel insurance for this purpose.

BaptistCare has a comprehensive Privacy Policy that explains how and why your information will be collected, held and disclosed. The full Privacy Policy can be viewed online here. We will collect your information to administer your registration for events, invite you to events, manage other associated administrative functions and contact you on related topics or events. We may communicate with you for these purposes by email or mail, and you can unsubscribe at any time by writing to us. We may share your information with the hosts of events you are attending or other organisations relevant to your event registration. Your individual information can be accessed by contacting the Privacy Officer, BaptistCare NSW & ACT, PO Box 7626 Baulkham Hills NSW 2153. If you believe a correction is required, please contact us. By submitting this form and paying your ticket fee, you consent to us using and disclosing your personal information as set out above and in our Privacy Policy, and contacting you as described above.
