The Living Beyond Abuse program empowers women to:
- Meet others in similar situations and gain support
- Understand the cycle of violence
- Explore the different types of abuse
- Understand the impact abuse has on themselves and their children
- Rebuild their future and work towards positive relationship choices
- Increase self-esteem and reduce self-blame
There are many different types of violence:
HopeStreet Referral
Service providers can refer a community member by accessing and completing the HopeStreet CSH referral form and forwarding it to HopeStreet-Referral@baptistcare.org.au.
Referrals will be assessed to ensure there is no immediate safety concerns and incoming referrals will be contacted within two working days.
