Tim has been a board member since 2017, originally with Baptcare. He has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry across UK, Europe, North America, and Asia. He is currently CEO of Catholic Church Insurance. Tim has held board memberships across several church and Not-For-Profit organisations. Tim is a member of Crossway Baptist Church.
Robert served on the BaptistCare board for 10 years, before rejoining in 2018. He chaired BaptistCare from 2019 until March 2025. Robert also chairs Logosdor and The Mission to Seafarers, Sydney. Robert was formerly chair of Port Authority of New South Wales, a State Owned Corporation. He held Executive and Board roles at Opportunity International, and before that at Patrick Corporation. He is a member of Castle Hill Baptist Church.
Melinda is the Director of Ministries for Baptist Churches SA & NT and has served as an ordained Baptist minister since 2002. She has held various leadership roles, including local church pastor, State Director for Global Interaction, and educator in Biblical Studies at Tabor in Adelaide. Melinda completed her PhD at Charles Sturt University, focusing on the Psalms of Ascents through theological interpretation and performance criticism. She has published several works on the Psalms and spirituality. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is currently completing an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership through the Harvard Kennedy School.
Jennifer has been a board member since 2022, originally with Baptcare. She is an experienced and highly networked non-executive director in the human services sector. She has Chair, Non-Executive Director and CEO experience in national peak representative bodies and is a member of risk & audit, finance, and people & governance committees. She has over 40 years of experience working as a clinician, manager and executive in the health, disability, and aged care sectors.
Corinne served on the BaptistCare board for 11 years, before rejoining in 2019. She is an experienced executive in the Insurance industry. A qualified actuary, she has held several senior roles across various companies, in actuarial, capital management, reinsurance and risk management fields. She is a member of Epping Baptist Church.
Assyl has been a board member since 2018, originally with Baptcare. He is the Group Chief Information Officer of KOOKAI Australia. He has held previous Director roles in digital transformation, strategy, innovation and operations at the University of Melbourne, Pitcher Partners, Growth Solutions Group, Carlton & United Breweries, and Universities Australia. He also co-founded LIVE IN australia.com.
Rebecca has been a board member since 2021, originally with Baptcare. She is a Geriatrician who has worked in the field of geriatric medicine for more than 15 years. Rebecca holds a public hospital appointment at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she works across community, hospital and residential aged care settings. She is a member of St Jude’s Anglican Church.
Graham has served on the BaptistCare NSW ACT and Baptistcare WA board since 2018. He has over 30 years of experience in the aged care sector, having worked in senior executive roles in South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. Graham has qualifications in urban planning and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a member of Riverlife Baptist Church in Brisbane.
Allen is Chair of the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT Assembly Council. He has over 20 years’ experience in executive roles with multinational corporations in the IT industry (Fujitsu, Verizon). He moved into the Christian not-for-profit space in 2007 where he has worked and voluntarily served in organisations such as BaptistCare (General Management roles from 2007 to 2018), IntegriCare (currently Board Chair), Bedford College and PeaceWise, where he is the Chief Operations Officer. Allen is a member of Parramatta Baptist Church.
Mick is Chair of the Baptist Union of Victoria Union Council. With 44 years of experience in business leadership, he retired in 2015 as the regional CEO of a top 10 Global Logistics Group. He now serves as a business advisor and board member to a number of commercial enterprises in various sectors. He has also been a non-executive director (previous Chair) at CBM Australia since 2016 and at CBM Global based out of Europe since 2020. He previously held leadership roles at Baptist World Aid, Eastern College Australia, and the NFP, Business for Millennium Development. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Managers and Leaders. He completed the “Leading from the Chair” course at Insead Paris in 2018. He is a member of Syndal Baptist Church, Melbourne.
Cameron has been a board member since 2016, originally with BaptistCare NSW & ACT. He is a Non-Executive Director with Retail, Manufacturing, Consulting and Technology experience, with over two decades experience in large scale technology-based business transformation. He is currently Executive General Manager – Transformation, Technology and Digital at CSR, having previously worked at Woolworths and PwC. Cameron is a member of Dural Baptist Church.
Charles has significant leadership experience in funds management, property, planning and development, having previously worked for Colonial First State Global First State Asset Management and the Sydney Olympic Park Authority. He has driven significant mergers and acquisitions and led large scale developments. Charles is married to Jane and together they have three daughters. He is a keen cyclist and spends early mornings and weekends on the road enjoying the company of other riders and the amazing national parks that surround Sydney.
Silvia is an experienced senior executive who has worked within the government, community services and health sectors. Originally a clinician, her shift from therapeutic work to leadership and governance roles has been supported through extensive training, including the two-year Executive Leadership Program at the Victorian Leadership Development Centre and with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Silvia loves spending time with the family, enjoys cooking and catching up with friends.
Kate is an experienced executive in aged care and human services, with a diverse leadership background leading strategy, M&A, enterprise risk management, PMO, legal services and company secretariat functions. Kate's expertise lies in driving organisational growth and change, complemented by experience as a non-executive director across a range of sectors. Away from the office, Kate enjoys spending time with her two young children, and watching sport of any persuasion.
Jenny has many years of experience in teaching, pastoral care and chaplaincy. She has been with BaptistCare since 2010. For the first five years, she worked as a chaplain in the Residential, Home Service and Housing and Retirement Living space before moving into management. Jenny is married to Graham, also a chaplain. They have four children and six grandchildren. Her downtime is spent with friends or watching good movies.
David has a background in property development, consulting and construction. His responsibility is to oversee the feasibility and development of new projects as well as the ongoing asset management of the property portfolio. David is married with three adult children and enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
Liz has over 15 years’ experience leading People and Culture teams in sectors under constant change and pressure. Coming from Southern Cross Care, Liz has also worked with SummitCare, the CSL Group and Australian Geographic. She is passionate about finding new ways to evolve the employee experience and inspire performance and engagement of all parts of the team. Liz enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and travelling.
Robyn brings with her over 20 years of experience in community services having worked in leadership positions for the Salvation Army, Be Slavery Free and the Land and Housing Authority. She is passionate about being an active contributor to social changes through her knowledge and expertise. Robyn enjoys spending time with her family, water-based activities, travel and turning up at the local comedy store for a laugh.
Sarah is an experienced aged care executive, with a background in psychology and organisational development. She brings a strong focus on people to her management approach and is committed to building strong and effective teams. Left to her own devices, Sarah loves to cook, spend time with friends or in the garden and enjoy her three sons and their expanding families.
Daniel has a diverse background in technology, previously working across retail, government, manufacturing and education. He has spent over a decade in management and executive technology roles in the aged care and community services sectors. Daniels spare time is spent with his wife and two children where he regularly imparts his love of sporting activities (especially basketball) and outdoor adventure.
Amanda has significant experience in senior management within the aged care, banking and human resources sectors, having previously worked for Bankwest and Commonwealth Bank in Australia, and HBOS in the United Kingdom. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a fellow of Leadership WA. Amanda is passionate about improving the quality of aged care, with a desire to enhance the wellbeing of residents and clients. Amanda is married to Paul and together they have two children. Her spare time is spent looking after her two Labrador fur babies and enjoying long walks along the beach.
Allan joined BaptistCare in 2019 after 20 years in senior roles in the aged care sector, covering residential aged care, retirement living, home care and social housing. Allan is married with three adult children and enjoys travelling. He’s a keen woodworker and an early adopter of new technologies.
Neville brings significant senior management experience having worked with listed, private equity and private international organisations across diverse industries. Neville is married with four children and the whole family are avid fans, foundation members and season ticket holders of the Western Sydney Wanderers.
