BaptistCare’s newest Retirement Living Community is underway in Canberra and is due for completion in April 2022. It is called BaptistCare Yarra Rossa.
Drawing inspiration from nearby Yarralumla community (“Yarra”) and its location in the prestigious suburb of Red Hill (known for its rich, red “Rossa” soil), BaptistCare Yarra Rossa is a new luxury community exclusive to over 55s.
BaptistCare Yarra Rossa is comprised of 100 architecturally designed apartments spread across five low rise precincts in a resort-style community. There are one, two and three bedroom apartments available that feature open plan living, modern fixtures and appliances and private balconies.
The community facilities are many, including a pool, gym, café, community garden, bocce court, a clubhouse (called “Conjola”, after the National Park familiar to many Canberrans) and bowling green. There’s also a library, hair and beauty salon, a private village green, a walking track, outdoor chess, a workshop and an alfresco dining area with a pizza oven and BBQ for residents to enjoy.
BaptistCare Yarra Rossa has been designed to enrich the lives of those who live there, with a range of activities offered by the Community, so residents can be as social and active as they want to be.
