Welcome to BaptistCare’s 2024 Annual Report.
This year BaptistCare continued our people first mission of creating places of hope and support for vulnerable communities, marking 80 years of dedicated care.
Through significant change and growth, our achievements this year testify to our commitment to our people, as we seek to empower residents, clients, tenants, employees, and families to thrive and live well.
Founded 80 years ago, BaptistCare has continuously created places of hope for the vulnerable. Originating in post-war 1940s Australia and expanding over time, BaptistCare has evolved to meet ever-changing needs while maintaining our core values.
BaptistCare’s mission remains focused on transforming lives through the love of Christ. In celebrating 80 years, we acknowledge the dedication and service of the many people who have shaped our legacy of care and compassion.
Meet our talented Board of Directors and Leadership Team.
Together this team has steered the organisation throughout the year, and we extend a deep appreciation for their insights, skills and acumen, as well as their unwavering commitment to BaptistCare.
From partnering with Maggie Beer, acquiring services from another home care provider and opening new home care hubs, to officially opening the last of 500 Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF) homes with the NSW government, and welcoming the first residents into our redeveloped BaptistCare Caloola aged care home in Wagga Wagga; it's been a year of growth, change, and maturity.
