The Facing Up support group provides an opportunity for men to:

  • Examine their abusive behaviour
  • Take responsibility for their actions
  • Explore the role of power and control in relationships
  • Respond rather than react to situations
  • Challenge unhelpful stereotypes
  • Become the man they want to be

When relationships go seriously wrong...

Facing Up is for courageous and determined men who want to move beyond their familiar destructive patterns and instead create safe and respectful relationships.
Questions to ask yourself include:

  • Has your anger hurt the people you care about?
  • Do you know the difference between anger and abuse?
  • Are you ready to look at the possibility that your actions may be abusive?
  • Are you ready to move beyond promises that you will never hurt your loved ones again?
