Following the success of last year’s inaugural BaptistCare at home calendar, the team have returned with another beautiful publication to adorn your walls in 2024.

Featuring twelve stunning new photographs taken by BaptistCare at home clients and employees alike, the calendar is a visual representation of a strong, diverse BaptistCare community, now spanning three states across New South Wales, the ACT, and Western Australia.

As part of this year’s campaign, BaptistCare at home clients were invited to share a meaningful snapshot of their everyday life, whether it be a picture of a beloved furry companion, blossoming spring colours in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, a breathtaking sunset, or birds taking flights at dusk.

With well over 100 beautiful photograph submissions coming through, each of them with their own meaningful story and background, the most challenging part of the design process has been selecting just twelve photographs to be included in the publication.

Rachel Raschke, Customer Engagement Manager for BaptistCare at home said, “The BaptistCare at home calendar is fast becoming a tradition that our clients and employees can look forward to each year. Aside from being able to participate and share their own stories through the photograph submissions, our clients can also enjoy this visual reminder of the wide community of support available to them, all year round.”

In addition to the inspiring photographs included on each month’s page, the calendar also features advice and encouragements on how to ‘live well,’ all of them corresponding to BaptistCare’s three Well-Living goals: Be Well, Think Well, and Connect Well.

Some of the tips include advice on staying fit and active in older age, the benefits of engaging in social activities such as book clubs or cooking classes, and why it’s so important to regularly practice mindful moments, like prayer or meditation.

The calendar also includes key information on how to access additional services through our Care Facilitators, such as lawn mowing, household repairs, and help getting to and from regular health appointments.

Having now been circulated amongst all clients with an active Home Care Package (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), or social club membership, the calendar serves as a unique Christmas gift from BaptistCare.

Thank you to everyone who submitted photographs for our 2024 calendar collaboration!
