Why Choose BaptistCare at home?

BaptistCare has over 75 years’ experience actively supporting communities with services for the ageing, retirees, families, disadvantaged and disabled. In the last 30 years we have brought these services direct to the homes of our ageing customers.

At home you’re surrounded by the people, community and memories you love most, and we believe that’s the best place to live. So we offer services to keep you at home for as long as possible. This approach to individuality is a big part of our belief that true care comes from love, in order to create strong and caring communities that value personal well-being and each other.

There’s no place like home, and with BaptistCare at home, we will do what we can to support you to stay there.

Expertise Matters

We’re not just about the basics, we love genuinely getting to know each one of our clients and building a suite of supports focussed on enabling each person to live their best possible life. Yes, this might mean lending a hand with some of the practicalities of life such as cleaning and shopping, but more than that it is about bringing in our team of experts to provide exactly what each person needs. It might be recommending helpful equipment, putting together an activity program, helping with personalised exercises, connecting clients with old and new friends, consulting on health and mobility issues, providing specialised dementia care, or and delivering best practice clinical care.

Motivation Matters

BaptistCare has been serving the community for over 75 years. We do so because we care, and we think that it shows.

While many home care providers are run as businesses to make a profit, our purpose is simply to faithfully provide the best quality care that we can for our senior Australians.

Size Matters

Being one of the largest aged care providers in Australia means that we have the expertise, resources, networks and experience to provide what many others cannot.

Whether that is technical knowledge, clinical expertise, Government funded programs, or a special deal on something due to our contacts and buying power, BaptistCare have the connections.

Relationships Matter

Every client has a dedicated, expert Care Facilitator who serves as their connection point for all the services they need. They get to know you and what is important to you. They then liaise with your team of direct care workers, and other contacts such as the Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse or Home Modifications team to make sure you receive the supports you need.

Our direct care workers continually tell us that they love what they do and genuinely enjoy getting to know each person they support. We love seeing the genuine friendships that develop and the natural joy that brings into everyday activities.

Respite Care

Could you use a break from your duties as a carer? Everyone needs a break now and then. Respite Care from BaptistCare provides you with the peace of mind you need to enjoy some well-earned ‘me time’. Our respite care options provide you with the space you need to recharge your batteries, knowing that your loved one is in caring hands.

You can relax, knowing our caring staff are providing personal care, continence management, assistance with medication and dedicated care management for your loved one depending on their unique needs.
