We are able to support people living with dementia, with a focus on promoting well-being and independence, and what brings meaning and purpose to the lives of each individual. Your care team partners will provide care that is flexible, compassionate and responsive to the needs of each and every resident.

Of course, living is not all about getting excellent quality care in lovely surroundings – it’s also about being able to do the things that you want to do and experiencing fun, purpose and connections socially, culturally and spiritually. Our Lifestyle Teams enjoy supporting you to live your life, your way.
We offer a wide range of activities and special programs, including Connecting Through Music and Sensory Connections Clubs designed to:
- Enable active minds, bodies and senses;
- Build and maintain connections – culturally, within your communities, socially and spiritually
- Offer fun, purpose and celebration
- Reduce agitation and improve communication.
Supportive Environments for Dementia
Our environments offer supportive wayfinding cues and orientation landmarks and features, including personalised memory boxes to help you identify your room. Invitational signs may prompt you to enjoy participating in some leisure activities.
Sometimes people living with dementia can experience distressing behavioural and psychological symptoms. BaptistCare is committed to providing care and support in a way that responds to your feelings and needs and your unique background and circumstances, and minimises the use of restraints.
Secure Support for People Living with Dementia
Most of our caring communities have a secured area, accommodating up to 18 residents in single rooms with en-suites, and pleasant indoor and outdoor communal areas, created to enhance your safety and maximise your independence should you need this added security.

Our MyTeam® care approach means that your care and support is provided by a consistent, familiar team of people, who know and understand your unique background, needs and preferences.
This allows a quicker and greater understanding of any changes in behaviour and more personalised and effective responses in care. We also value building relationships with your family where this is your choice.
