Our approach provides easy access to our home care and residential aged care so you have peace of mind that you can live as independently as you wish, while being able to receive the exact amount of support that’s right for you, if and when you need it.

Home Care

We know that wait times for a Government subsidised Home Care Package can be long and when you’re on a fixed income it may be difficult to fund much-needed care services yourself. That's why BaptistCare has introduced an innovative way to ensure you can access and afford the services you need when you need them. We offer:

  • Priority access to BaptistCare at home
  • The choice to draw down from the Entry Payment of your retirement living unit to pay for services while you wait for a Home Care Package or upgrade to be approved*
  • Or choose to pay for these on a fee-for-service basis

Moving to Residential Care

It’s important that you have peace of mind regarding future Residential Aged Care if you ever need it. We want to ensure you can access and afford this service more easily. We offer:

  • To help facilitate easy access to our Residential Aged Care Centres regardless of your financial status; subject to ACAT approval and availability
  • When you move into a BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Facility and an accommodation payment is required, we guarantee to refund your retirement village Entry Payment within 7 days after you vacate and hand back your keys.
  • A 10% reduction in the price of the Accommodation Bond when transferring to a BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Facility
  • If you are a couple and one of you needs to move into residential aged care, the Entry Payment paid for the retirement living unit is not counted as part of your assets
