Home care

At BaptistCare, home care services are designed to fit your life, not the other way around. Whether that means a helping hand getting the groceries home and packed away, housekeeping and laundry services, or regular clinical and personal care – our friendly village care managers can help connect you to the right support, all backed by one trusted team.

As your needs evolve over time, services can grow with you, so you can keep enjoying the home and community you love.

We know that waiting for government-subsidised home care can take time, and it isn’t always easy to fund care yourself. That’s why we’ve introduced an innovative way to help you access the support you need, when you need it.

With BaptistCare, you can:

• enjoy facilitated, easy access to BaptistCare home care services with support from our onsite village care manager;

• draw down from the entry payment of your retirement living unit to pay for services while you wait for home care funding to be approved*; and

• choose to pay for services on a fee-for-service basis.

Moving to residential aged care

If you or someone you love are finding it a challenge to live independently at home, our residential communities are somewhere you can feel right at home and receive care whenever you need it.

With BaptistCare, you’ll find that residential aged care homes are often co-located or situated within a short distance from our retirement villages*, so you can always stay connected to your community and the people who love that you’re a part of it.

We also want the move to feel as easy and worry-free as possible. That’s why we offer:

• to facilitate easy access to our residential aged care homes regardless of your financial status, subject to ACAT approval and availability;

• a guarantee to refund your retirement village entry payment within seven days of you vacating and handing back your keys, if an accommodation payment is required when you move into residential aged care;

• peace of mind for couples - if one of you needs to move into residential aged care, the entry payment for your retirement living unit won’t be counted as part of your assets.

Our emergency alarm system offers a full range of personal safety services and products, installed across village homes and shared spaces, and designed to help life feel easier, safer and more secure. Whenever you call, a well-trained and compassionate emergency response operator will be there to answer, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They’ll listen with respect, empathy and courtesy, and do everything they can to put things right.
