BaptistCare have entered into an agreement to acquire The Grange Lifestyle Village, Wagga Wagga.

BaptistCare is a leading not-for-profit Christian based care organisation that has been serving the aged and people living with disadvantage for almost 80 years.

From humble beginnings in 1944, BaptistCare has grown into one of the nation's most respected care providers, employing more than 3,600 employees, with a further 800 volunteers.

We support 17,500 people across 75 locations in NSW and the ACT. We offer a range of services which include, residential aged care, At Home, retirement living, and community services, such as affordable housing, no-interest loans, and services for women and children escaping violence.

We’re no strangers to your area. BaptistCare is committed and invested in the Wagga region, and we have been since 1979. We provide a range of aged care and community services here, including BaptistCare Caloola Centre, BaptistCare At Home, and BaptistCare HopeStreet, and the Watermark Retirement Village. We employ more than 200 staff in the Riverina region.

The Grange will be the second retirement village BaptistCare owns and operates in the Riverina region alongside BaptistCare Watermark Village, located in Church Street Wagga. The Grange would join our other ten villages across NSW and one, scheduled to be opened in April 2022 in the ACT, we think it will be a great fit for our organisation.

We have reached an agreement to acquire The Grange, and while we work through the official formalities, the transfer of ownership will take place in late March 2022.

We plan on meeting with residents and employees in early February 2022, where we will have an opportunity to meet and speak to you all in person.

We understand that a new change of ownership might seem unsettling for residents and employees. We promise that we have the interest of residents and employees front of mind, and intend to have open and honest conversations with you at every step of the way as the transition of ownership occurs, and well into the future.

All residents will be supported by the organisation, and our Retirement Living division will ensure you receive all the information and support that you need.

Unwaveringly, we believe in the work we do and the people we serve. It's a simple, yet profound purpose. Whether that is helping retirees make the most of their golden years, providing shelter for the homeless, or being that caring presence, everything we do, exists with this purpose in mind.

No your recurrent fees will remain the same until a new budget is implemented with input from the residents.

Your lease and the details in your village contract will be honoured by BaptistCare.
