A big congratulations to Beryl Tarttelin, one of our BaptistCare home care clients who last week was awarded the Bungendore Citizen of the Year 2024 Award for her outstanding dedication to the Bungendore community, in the Bungendore Australia Day Awards ceremony!
Held at the Bungendore Council Chambers on Australia Day, Beryl was proud to receive the prestigious award, among other award recipients in different categories.
Upon moving to Bungendore 18 years ago, Beryl joined the local Rotary Club where she volunteered at many club events, hosted an exchange student, and served as club president for some time. During her early years, Beryl also tutored local children, many of whom had learning or language difficulties, free of charge. Since retiring from teaching, Beryl has been dedicated to advocating for seniors in her local region.
