Designed with a people-first approach, David Buttfield Centre offers a thriving and welcoming place to call home in the central suburb of Gwelup.
David Buttfield Centre provides person-centred support for all levels of care, including specialised support for those living with dementia.
Offering 95 individual rooms and 5 double rooms, each one features an en suite, built-in wardrobes, adjustable bed and emergency-monitoring systems for your safety and security. Our double rooms also include a dividing curtain for extra privacy.
For the social butterfly they can choose to enjoy meals in our communal dining room, join an activity in our large activity room or visit our hair salon to be pampered. Or if you'd prefer some quite time, there's plenty of spaces to unwind in our beautifully landscaped outdoor gardens or sit in one of our intimate lounges with a good book.
Residents can even invite their friends and family for celebrations and make use of our outdoor barbeque area.
Specialised dementia support
David Buttfield Centre has a separate wing dedicated to dementia enrichment living in a secure and safe environment with 24 hour care by professional nurses and trained staff.
Lounges and quiet rooms are available within these areas. The dementia enrichment living wing has secure garden areas designed to stimulate and encourage residents to spend some time enjoying the fresh air and outdoor environment.
