This facility is welcoming visitors.

We have been advised of several COVID-positive cases linked to this facility. Based on the latest health advice, the facility is still welcoming visitors however they may be asked to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including face mask, face shield, gloves and gown.

We have contacted the nominated representatives of any COVID-positive resident and are discussing their care treatment plans in consultation with their GP. Please be assured a health professional at the facility will provide regular updates to these representatives but for privacy reasons we cannot provide the information to anyone else. We ask that family and friends keep in touch with their loved one’s nominated representative.

Care is being provided by our team wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and a deep clean of any affected areas of the facility has been completed.

Visitor information

Visitor numbers may be limited to two visitors per resident at any one time to ensure we have the capacity to manage visitor access and PPE requirements in a controlled and sensible way. During an outbreak, we encourage you to book your visits in advance via Zipline as the booking system will manage visitor numbers if necessary.

Visitors must take a daily Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) which we will provide to you prior to entry. Visitors must check in to and out of the facility using our online visitor management system, Zipline:

  • completing a health declaration which EXCLUDES close contacts for 7 days and confirming you do not have any COVID or Influenza symptoms.
  • providing a negative RAT to be photographed when prompted.
  • having your temperature taken.

We strongly recommend visitors stay up to date with COVID and Influenza vaccinations.

Please continue to use hand sanitiser on entry and exit, and consider enjoying your visit in our garden areas if weather permits.

There are no restrictions to visiting times or visit duration.

If you are unwell, please do not visit.

We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.

Planning and preparation

As you know, we have developed detailed plans in consultation with the WA Department of Health to prevent an outbreak and manage one if it occurs. We are continuing to invest in regular infection control training and maintaining supplies of PPE (personal protection equipment) and Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) ready for use. All employees and volunteers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We understand these are challenging times. Sometimes it helps to talk through worries and concerns. Our chaplains are always available to support your emotional needs. They listen compassionately and can be a friendly person to talk to during times of uncertainty. Just let your Care Team know if you would like to access our Chaplaincy Service.

Thank you

Thank you for your support and cooperation. We are so grateful for the understanding shown by everyone as we work together to protect our communities.

Please know we are doing all we can in partnership with health authorities and with support from our wider residential leadership team and our executive leadership team to respond to this situation. The health, safety and wellbeing of your loved one is our absolute priority.
