We hear you and understand it’s an important consideration for many. It is why we’re committed to telling you all the costs, both subsidised and non-subsidised... and all up-front. There are no hidden fee charges, no handling fees on purchases, or compulsory co-contribution to your funds.

Support at Home (SaH)

Support at Home provides government funding for both ongoing and short term support in your home through 8 funding classifications and 3 short term pathways. It also has 4 additional classifications for individuals with current Home Care Packages who are transitioning to the Support at Home program.

Home Care Packages (HCP) and Private Services

Home Care Packages are a government-subsidised program providing ongoing support to help you live well and independently at home. Each level offers funding based on your care needs, with:

  • HCP Level 1 → SaH Classifications 1–2
  • HCP Level 2 → SaH Classifications 3–4
  • HCP Level 3 → SaH Classifications 5–6
  • HCP Level 4 → SaH Classifications 7–8

Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

The Commonwealth Home Support Program helps older people access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home. It can include help with cleaning, gardening, shopping, and group activities. Carers and loved ones may also receive funding for respite through this program.

How are BaptistCare at home services managed and delivered?

You'll have a multi-disciplinary care team of a care facilitator, schedulers and support workers. Your care facilitator will assist with the management and set-up of your services, including your roster, budget and care plan. If your needs or priorities change, we'll work with you to make appropriate changes to your care plan. Our experience and expertise enables us to give real value for money and to genuinely put our clients first in all we do.
