5 We have a plan

It’s certainly an exciting time to join BaptistCare as we grow our business to support more people across the country with aged care and community services.

Our Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027 guides us towards our vision of seeing every individual living well over the next five years, with clear focus areas and outcomes. We measure our progress closely as we go, evolving and growing in the process.

6 We have a genuine culture of care

As a leading not-for-profit Christian-based care organisation, we take our corporate social responsibilities seriously.

Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) approach is holistic, caring for People, Community, and Planet. Some of our recent focus areas have included:

  • The launch of our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2023
  • Our commitment to support a just transition to net zero by 2050 or earlier
  • Our commitment to tackling the risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain – you can read our statements here.
  • Growing our BaptistCare chaplaincy support and Community Services team, both of whom walk alongside our residents, clients, and staff, offering a listening ear and compassionate, confidential support.

7 We're proud to be innovative

We know that the best ideas are often those from people who are on the frontline, seeing the opportunities for improvements.

We’ve got an Innovations bank building, and you can win $250 if your idea is chosen for implementation! Big ideas, small ideas – all are welcome.

8 We recognise great effort and achievement

We thank our peers and acknowledge their work through our Shine rewards program. Reward points are accumulated, and you can purchase a range of things from our Rewards shop, including vouchers, toys, exercise equipment, household goods and more.
