Do you like meeting and talking with people? Being able to regularly have a conversation with friends makes a huge difference to our residents. Days and times are flexible. They will love chatting regularly one-on-one with a new friend.
We have a group of men who would greatly appreciate the friendly support of a couple of people who share their passion for plants and would enjoy assisting in the garden or similar activities for men. Mondays 1.30 PM to 3.30 PM. We are looking for people to assist staff with craft and other activities, or simply to chat over a cuppa together.
Are you a fluent reader and enjoy reading to other? Some of our older residents would truly value the opportunity to have the Bible read to them on a regular basis. Days and times are negotiable.
We need some friendly helpful people to drive our 8-seater bus each Friday morning and afternoon. They will be transporting residents and care staff on outings around town, with a hope of adding regular shopping trips. Current Class C licence essential.
Volunteers are needed to assist residents with Men’s activities, Ladies activities, morning exercises, gardening, reading books or poems, having a chat, craft activities, cooking, painting, and assisting the Chaplain.
