Brave Me is a resilience-based group program for 8-12 year olds who have experienced adversity, including, but not limited to, domestic and family violence, bullying and separation.
Brave Me uses a range of creative interventions and activities with the aim to facilitate communication, self-expression, and reflection for children without re-traumatising or relying on talk therapy. Over time, we see children start to develop healthy strategies to emotionally self-regulate, identify their own personal strengths, and grow in confidence and self-esteem. Brave Me sessions are 60 minutes, taking place every week for 6 weeks during school terms.
