Our Kellyville social club is a well-loved community facility located on the newly built Gracewood Community site, providing short day-care and long day-care respite for local people in need. We’re here to give carers a well-deserved break so they can take the time to run errands, visit friends or do some shopping.
We offer day-respite care for older people and people living with low to medium levels of dementia - and we support their carers. Lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea are provided. and transport can be arranged should you require it.
There is never a shortage of social activities and outings to take part in, including bowls, craftwork, light exercise, cooking and gardening activities and special theme and event days. Our Wednesday group focuses on cognitive activities such as discussion groups, history sessions and visiting galleries. We also offer regular outings and bus trips in the local community. Our bus is fully equipped with a hoist for passenger safety and comfort. A personalised care plan will be developed to ensure every individual is cared for the way they should be.
The Kellyville Social Club is open Monday to Friday 9:30am until 2:30pm and Saturday 9am until 3:30pm.
